Would you like to contribute to our blog?

Dear potential contributor,

The Living European Union Law blog was launched in early 2024 as an initiative of faculty members from Ankara University Faculty of Law, Department of European Union Law.

Our blog aims to cover current developments in all areas of European Union law and the legal dimensions of Turkey-European Union relations, in both Turkish and English languages.

As a starting point, we will focus on analysing decisions from the Court of Justice of the European Union and European Union legislation, ensuring that our content remains current and relevant.

We invite contributions from academics, master’s and doctoral students, as well as practitioners such as bureaucrats or lawyers.

Submitted articles should adhere to the following guidelines:

(i) Properly cite sources, either through footnotes with hyperlinks or in parentheses.

(ii) Concisely explain the material and legal background of the subject covered.

(iii) Discuss current developments related to the subject matter.

(iv) Provide an evaluation of the subject matter in light of these current developments.

(v) Maintain a word limit of 1000-2500 words.

(vi) Include at least five relevant keywords.

(vii) Articles may be submitted in either Turkish or English.

Please note that the opinions expressed in the articles belong solely to the author(s), and the content of the blog posts should not be construed as legal advice.
